Latisse is a prescription used for the treatment of hypotrichosis, a condition in which the patient has short or thin eyelashes. It grows eyelashes that are longer, darker and fuller.
Latisse must be applied on a daily basis for a minimum of sixteen weeks before it is fully effective. Use it on the lash line of the upper eyelid, but avoid the lower eyelid. Gradually your lashes will lengthen and thicken, and then darken. Improvements continue as long as you use the medication; should you discontinue treatment, your eyelashes will eventually return to the way they looked previously.
