Byron Norris, MD
Dr. Norris treats all aspects of general otolaryngology but has special interests in pediatric ENT, salivary gland tumors, endoscopic sinus surgery, surgical management of sleep apnea, and the management of head and neck cancer. Additionally, Dr. Norris is the lead preceptor and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the MCG/UGA Medical Partnership in the Department of Otolaryngology. Dr. Norris is originally from Barnesville, Georgia and graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in Biomedical Engineering from Mercer University. He then completed medical school at Mercer University and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed a surgical residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi. He, his wife Amy, and two children live in Five Points and are members of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
