Blake Kimbrell, MD
Dr. Kimbrell is a board certified Otolaryngologist. He is originally from Gainesville, Georgia. Dr. Kimbrell graduated from Mercer University Magnum Cum Laude. He completed his medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. He then moved to Norfolk, Virginia to complete his Otolaryngology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Kimbrell is an assistant Clinical Professor at the MCG/UGA Medical Partnership in the Department of Otolaryngology. His interests are in adult and pediatric general ENT. He especially enjoys thyroid and parathyroid disease, voice and swallowing disorders, endoscopic sinus surgery, and the surgical management of sleep apnea and head and neck cancer. Dr. Kimbrell lives in Athens with his wife, Dr. Ashlee Kimbrell, a colorectal surgeon.
